Today’s post is going to be a little bit different.
I will not be the one to explain or give advice to you, now it is YOUR turn.
I want to know:
What does being healthy mean to you? Why do you care about your health?
If you are trying to eat clean and fit in workouts in your busy lifestyle whenever you can – what keeps you going?
These questions popped into my mind recently when a fellow student of mine asked me why I am so dedicated to working out and eating well. We were at the cafeteria in the clinic and I had prepared my own lunch (black rice and omelette), while they were having fried fries and fried chicken. I don’t ever judge anyone on their eating habits or whether they are fit or not. In fact, I eat those things myself now and then but I chose not to do that every day.
I chose to fit in a workout when I come home at 8 p.m. instead of laying on the couch. Sometimes, the couch wins (like today) but other times, I am glad I pushed through and worked of the stress of the day.
I will go into more detail about my own reasons in the next post. But now I want to hear: Why do you care? Is it about aesthetics (which is totally fine), weight loss or maybe a deeper meaning?
I am very curious to read your answers! Please comment below 🙂
Have a great day everyone,
