My purpose in blogging
Actually, I just published a page in my about section “About this Blog“.
I have been researching Sports and Nutritional Science for about 6 years now and combining that with the knowledge I acquired in medical school, I can say I know quite a bit about proper Nutrition and Fitness. This does not make me an expert on any of these fields. In fact, I used that knowledge to heal myself and my family.
When I started posting motivational pictures in a social App by fitnessblender, people asked me to start a blog and write down everything I have learned in these past years. Trust me, without their support, I would never have had the courage to do this! Especially, as english is not my mother tongue (it was my major class in school though).
I want people to educate themselves on human physiology and knowing what happens in their body. The information shared on this blog is meant as a guidance to help you to achieve your fitness goals and be healthy.
Also, I noticed that writing about these topics and explaining the physiologic processes in the body is a wonderful way for me to refresh my knowledge. As I am in my last year of medical school, next year I will have to pass the hardest examination there is for a medical student… Everything I have learned in these 6 years needs to be present. I have no doubts that writing this blog is a good way to de-stress and consolidate my medical knowledge.
I nominate for this Award:
I would like to nominate more people but I do not know if there is a limitation in nominating, so this is it for now 🙂
I will publish the third part of the Food Craving Series in a couple hours, see you then!
